Cascadia Art Museum: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. On third Thursdays, the museum is open until 8 p.m. and is free during Edmonds Art Walk hours, 5 to 8 p.m. Museum is at 190 Sunset Ave., Edmonds. Admission is $10, with discounts for seniors and students; 425-336-4809; www.cascadiaartmuseum.org. Northwest Sculpture: Five Decades of Form and Innovation and Northwest Paintings and Studio Ceramics: A Regional Perception are displayed through August. The newest exhibit, Northwest Social Realism and the American Scene — 1930 to 1950, is displayed through March 26. Tickets are on sale now for Coffee with the Curator, 10 a.m. March 4 at the museum. Curator David Martin plans an informative walk through the exhibition, sharing stories about the artists and how they survived during the Great Depression.

Schack Art Center: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday; 2921 Hoyt Ave., Everett; 425-259-5050; www.schack.org. Free admission. Schack classes include drawing, printmaking, basketry, jewelry and metal smithing, encaustic, painting, fused glass and blown glass. Teen Nights, which offer a chance to try different art projects, are free and set for 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 9, March 16, April 13 and May 11. Red Tails, Silver Wings, an exhibit of 53 paintings of the Tuskegee Airmen by Everett artist Chris Hopkins, is displayed through Feb. 25. Hopkins plans an informal free tour of the exhibition at noon Feb. 4.

Museum of Special Art: Noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, 720 238th St. SE, in Country Village, Bothell; www.museumofspecialart.org. Colors of My World exhibition is up through March 24. The exhibit features award-winning artist David Baker, who was born with cerebral palsy. He earned a degree in art at Central Washington University, where he discovered the art of manipulative photography and digital artwork.

Edmonds Historical Museum: 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday in the old Carnegie Library, 118 Fifth Ave. N., Edmonds; $5 for adults, $2 for students; 425-774-0900; www.historicedmonds.org. Current show is “Edmonds in Focus,” an extensive collection of photographs of the city.

Hibulb Cultural Center: Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. weekends. Free on first Thursdays until 8 p.m.; 6410 23rd Ave. NE, Tulalip; 360-716-2635; www.hibulbculturalcenter.org. Vibrant Beauty: Colors of Our Collection is displayed until spring. The interactive exhibit allows visitors to explore how color has influenced Coast Salish people and how it is used today.

Third Thursday Art Walks: Lots of new work is displayed during the Everett Art Walk and the Edmonds Art Walk on Feb. 16. More at everettartwalk.org and artwalkedmonds.com. In Everett, pick up a map at Black Lab Gallery, 1618 Hewitt Ave. In Edmonds, pick up a map at Gallery North, 401 Main St.

Arlington-Stillaguamish Eagle Festival art and poetry: Awards for works of haiku and photos of eagles will be made at the festival on Feb. 3. See the results at the Rock Paper Scissors art show 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 4 at Magnolia Hall, 225 E. Third St., Arlington. More information about the festival is at arlingtonwa.gov/eaglefest.

Art Loft Sisters at Fisherman’s Market and Grill: Regular business hours at 1032 W. Marine View Drive, Everett. Jean Levon Burger shows oil and acryclic paintings through March 4. Her subjects include Southwest landscapes and Victorian houses.

Arts of Snohomish Gallery: Noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday at 1024 First St., No. 104; 360-568-8648; www.artsofsnohomish.com. New to the gallery are wildlife photographers Bill and Nancy Dewey and metal artist Kory Grall.

Black Lab Gallery: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday at 1618 Hewitt Ave., Everett; blacklabonlinegallery.com. Dreamscapes and Abstractions runs through Feb. 17. Artists include Ru Otto and Janie Whited.

Edmonds Community College Art Gallery: 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, until 2 p.m. Friday and 1 to 5 p.m. weekends; third floor, Lynnwood Hall, 20000 68th Ave. W., Lynnwood; edcc.edu/gallery. Through March 13, see A Work in Progress by conceptual artist C. Davida Ingram. The exhibit is a collection of Ingram’s recent projects that include video, performance documentation, sculpture and artist writings. Beauty and social justice is the focus of her work. A reception is set for 3 p.m. March 3 in the gallery.

Everett Community College’s Russell Day Gallery: Room 219, Parks Student Union, 2000 Tower St. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fridays. Photographer Craig J. Barber’s work is displayed through Feb. 10.

Gallery North: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at 401 Main St., Edmonds; 425-774-0946; gallerynorthedmonds.com. Lynnwood Convention Center: An art exhibition, curated by Everett’s Schack Art Center, is displayed through June at the convention center. The exhibit can be viewed during regular business hours Monday through Friday or during the opening reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 8 at the center, 3711 196th St. SW. The featured artists include Sunyoung Kim, Mareen Larson, Fiona K. Lau, Joye Melby, Trinity Osborne, Barbara Ritter, Jan Tervonen, Frank Wieditz and Stephen Yates.

Mountlake Terrace Library Gallery: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at 23300 58th Ave. W., Mountlake Terrace; 425-776-8722; www.sno-isle.org.

Smith &Vallee Gallery: Forty artists from throughout the region are in a group show — “Winter Song: The Annual Bird Invitational” — at the gallery, 5742 Gilkey Ave., Edison. The annual Edison Chicken parade is noon Feb. 26, the final day of the show.

Admission is $7, with discounts for students, children, military and members. Formerly the La Conner Quilt Museum, the organization is celebrating 20 years with numerous new exhibits.

Whidbey Artists: Interpretations of “Amour” is the focus of a special show from 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 4 at the Whidbey Art Gallery, 220 Second Street, Langley. Enjoy light refreshments and stroll five rooms of art.
