Neighbors Night: Hear a Coast Salish tale told in English and Lushootseed and enjoy a craft activity that illustrates the story at 7 p.m. Feb. 18 at Red Curtain Center, 9315 State Ave., Suite J (around back in the Goodwill shopping center) in Marysville. Admission is $5 for adults and free for children.
“Mufaro’s Beautiful Daughters”: The Village Theatre Pied Piper Program presents the Dallas Children’s Theater production of the musical play based on the book by John Steptoe at 2 p.m. Feb. 19 at Everett Civic Auditorium, 2415 Colby Ave. Steptoe’s daughter Bweela, will attend the performance to promote her father’s artwork and books. As a girl, she was the model for the art in the book, which is a Cinderella tale. Recommended for students in grades 1-6. Tickets are $15. Call 425-257-8600.
Great Northwest Glass Quest: Find your own hand-blown glass float during this treasure hunt Feb. 17-26 in Stanwood and on Camano Island. Pick up a guide book at A Guilded Gallery or the UPS store in downtown Stanwood, or the Visitor Information Center on Camano Island. Harlem Globetrotters: The beloved clowns of the hardwood perform at 2 p.m. Feb. 19 at Xfinity Arena, 2000 Hewitt Ave., Everett. Make a wreath: Bring your family to a wreath-making class at Hazel Blue Acres Farm. Blueberry bush trimmings are used to make the colorful wreaths. One-hour classes are throughout the day, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Feb. 18, 25 and 27. Reservations are required. Call 360-770-7261. Cost is $20. Blueberry trimmings, wreath form, wreath crimper and refreshments provided. Participants are advised to bring gloves, pruners and a sack lunch. The farm is located at 430 Hevly Road, Arlington.
Imagine Children’s Museum: Located at 1502 Wall St., Everett. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays. For holders of Electronic Benefits Transfer cards from the state, the museum now admits four people for $3 each per EBT card per visit.
