Wetmore Food Truck Friday: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 24 in the theater plaza next to Everett Performing Arts Center, 2710 Wetmore Ave., find food truck owners selling their wares.

Cafe Zippy: The cafe is open again, now at 1502 Rucker (previously the location of Under the Red Umbrella) in Everett. Zippy is now an organic cafe. A grand opening celebration is at 6 p.m. Feb. 24 with discounts on pannini sandwiches.

Edmonds Clam Chowder Cook-Off: On Feb. 25, eight local restaurants will compete to win the “Best Clam Chowder in Edmonds” award, and participants get to taste and vote. The family event includes live music, and crafts and games in the Kid Zone. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 25 at 326 Admiral Way. Prices vary.

Edmonds Sons of Norway Pancake Breakfast: The breakfast and accompanying bake sale are 7:30 a.m. to noon March 4 at Edmonds Masonic Center, 515 Dayton St. Meal includes pancakes, strawberries, ham, juice, coffee, tea and milk.
