HEADS UP
No car parts at dump
Snohomish County’s solid waste facilities plan to stop accepting car parts and components starting Oct. 1.
That includes airbags, bumpers and catalytic converters, doors, fenders and frames, seats, transmissions and truck boxes.
People are asked to take those materials to private auto recyclers, which typically require proof of ownership.
