Man arrested after allegedly threatening people near EvCC

EVERETT — A man was arrested Thursday after reportedly making threats to people he passed in Everett.

He was walking in the 1000 block of Broadway, across from Everett Community College.

Police were called around 9:15 a.m. The man threatened to hurt people in the parking lot of a strip mall, said Everett police officer Aaron Snell.

The college was placed on a brief lockdown.
