Motorcycle show coming to Everett

The annual Everett Motorcycle Show runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Tony V’s Garage, 1716 Hewitt Ave. Live music starts at 2 p.m. with Whiskey River Band, a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band. There also will be trivia and belly dancing. Admission is a cash or nonperishable food donation for the Everett Food Bank.

Special-needs family night

Snohomish County families who have children with special needs are invited to a Family Fun Night and Information Fair, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 12 at Cedarcrest Middle School, 6400 88th St. NE, Marysville.

More help organizing and vendor suggestions also are welcome. The event is organized by the Cedarcrest Middle School PTSA.

Family science night

A Family Science Night is set for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Stanwood Library, 9701 271st St. NW. Hands-on activities, a short film and take-home ideas for home experiments.

Craft time — for adults

Use flexible conductive material in addition to needle and thread to craft a Day of the Dead-inspired skull with glowing LED eyes at an adult STEAM craft event, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m Wednesday at the Everett Public Library, 2702 Hoyt Ave. Supplies provided.

Space limited; registration is required. Children age 12 and older can accompany a participating adult.

Book sale in Arlington

The Friends of the Arlington Library book sale and membership drive runs Tuesday through Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, at the Arlington Library, 135 N Washington Ave. This month’s theme is crafts.

Conference for youth and allies

The “Links and Alliances” conference for LGBTQ youth is set for 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Oct. 14 at Everett Community College. The theme is “Building a rainbow through radical self-care and loving communities.”

The event is free for ages 14-20, and $25 for other adults. Registration requested.

Win a Kindle at Edmonds Library

The Friends of the Edmonds Library hold a Kindle raffle. Write a book recommendation of 200 to 400 words and turn it in by Oct. 27 for a chance to win. There are three age categories. Winners will be announced at the Friends’ annual book sale on Oct. 28.

Help available for GED prep

Everett Community College offers Spanish-language GED courses in Everett, Marysville and Monroe. The classes are offered weeknights. The final test also can be taken in Spanish.
