1. Repurpose

Get stylish without breaking the bank.

Project ReRUNway is a community fashion show featuring models in second-hand clothes and tips on how to find treasures at consignment shops.

The event is 5 p.m. Oct. 14 at Living Room Coffee House, 1636 Fourth St., Marysville. It will showcase consignment shop items from prom dresses to wedding gowns and for babies to moms.

The name is a pun from the television show “Project Runway.” The event will have tips and tricks you can use, such as skimming the racks for things that pop and how to incorporate secondhand items into your wardrobe.

Tickets are $10. More at 425-309-4378 or annahiatt@yahoo.com.

Really. You can join even if you’ve lived here all your life. Who knew?

The club is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.

What began with a morning coffee and get acquainted hour now has monthly luncheon meetings, a book club, a theater group, card games, movie nights and other activities.
