An ordained minister, professor, pilot, outdoorsman and writer, Schoenhals shares an inspiring collection of stories from his life in his new book “Hikes, Flights and Lookout Stories.” These tales cover a grueling 50-mile hike on the West Coast Trail of Vancouver Island, a near-accident in a float plane on Quilcene Bay and a fire inside a fire lookout station during a lightning storm.
