Seahawks vs. 49ers inactives: G Luke Joeckel returns

Here are the inactives for Sunday’s game between the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium:

SEATTLE (6-4)

Inactive: CB Shaquill Griffin, SS Kam Chancellor, RB Mike Davis, LB D.J. Alexander, G Oday Aboushi, WR David Moore, DE Dion Jordan.

Notes: Starters Chancellor (neck), Griffin (concussion) and Aboushi (shoulder) had already been ruled out, while Davis (groin) is unable to play against his former team after being listed as doubtful. However, Seattle gets a boost on the offensive line as left guard Luke Joeckel (knee) is back after missing the past five games. He will suit up next to left tackle Duane Brown (ankle), who also plays after being considered questionable. Another returnee is defensive tackle Jarran Reed (hamstring), who missed last week’s 34-31 loss to Atlanta. Of Seattle’s other questionable players, tight end Jimmy Graham (ankle), linebackers Bobby Wagner (hamstring) and Michael Wilhoite (calf), and cornerback Jeremy Lane (knee) will play, while Alexander (shoulder) and Jordan (neck) won’t. With Davis out, it means running back Thomas Rawls gets another chance after being a surprise healthy scratch a week ago.

SAN FRANCISCO (1-9)

Inactive: WR Victor Bolden Jr., DB Adrian Colbert, DL Pita Taumoepenu, DL Aaron Lynch, OL Trent Brown, DL Leger Douzable, DL D.J. Jones.

Notes: The most notable piece of news for San Francisco, which is coming off its bye, is that starting right tackle Brown, who was considered questionable because of a shoulder injury, will not play. However, the 49ers do get starting defensive end Solomon Thomas back. Thomas missed the previous two games because of a knee injury and was listed as questionable coming into this one. San Francisco also plays without starting free safety Colbert (thumb), who had already been ruled out.
