Christmas Spectacular
A Christmas Spectacular to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation is set for 6 p.m. Saturday at the Everett Civic Auditorium, 2415 Colby Ave. The showcase features singers, dancers and musicians, with special honors given to local military and to retiring Everett Chorale director Lee Mathews.
Admission is $20 and five cans of food for the local food bank. Tickets can be purchased online at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/3116058, or at the door starting at 5 p.m.

WAYS TO HELP
Wreaths for military
The Susan Woodin Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution will host Wreaths Across America at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Woodinville Cemetery, 13200 NE 175th St. The national event honors military personnel and their families. The local event will include a short ceremony, followed by the placing of Christmas wreaths on veterans’ graves.
The wreaths are provided in partnership with Molbak’s Garden and Home.

Christmas play aids foster children
Lifeway Foursquare Church presents the play, “Christmas Choir,” a comedy, at 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday at the Olympic Theatre, 107 S Olympic Ave., Arlington. Admission is $5, $20 per family. Or in lieu of buying tickets, bring a donation for children ages 11-18 (new toys, clothing or toiletries).
Donations will be given to the local state social services office to distribute to older children in the foster care system.

Toy drive for kids
Drop off new, unwrapped gifts at any Mattress Firm store through Monday. Donations will benefit children in the foster care system through area nonprofits, including Treehouse and Olive Crest.

Food bank hours
The Sky Valley Food Bank will distribute holiday toys to registered clients from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday. All children, from infants to age 13, must be registered ahead of time.
Holiday food will be distributed from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Monday; 5:30-7 p.m. Monday; 9 to 11:30 a.m. Dec. 20; and 9 to 11:30 a.m. Dec. 22.

Free dental work
Dr. William Webley at Just Smile Dental will offer free dental services from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 21. The clinic is at 11802 Evergreen Way, Suite 104, Everett. Patients can get one filling, one extraction or one cleaning. First-come, first served.
