North Cascades Concert Band: Robert Pattermann conducts the band’s Christmas concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 14 at Word of Life Lutheran Church, 9028 51st Ave. NE, Marysville. Voices of the Village: Arlington’s Village Community Services band is performing at an Evening with the Arts from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 14 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1200 E. Fifth St., Arlington. Voices of the Village is a band of singers and musicians with developmental disabilities. The audience is invited to jam with the band. Must be 18 years or older to attend. Fourth St. The concert will feature songs from the “Talkin’ Christmas!” album, as well as the band’s previous Grammy-winning Christmas recording “Go Tell It on the Mountain” and the Blind Boys’ gospel classics. Fourth St. The children’s benefit features clowns, jugglers, illusionists and an appearance by Santa himself. Each show is 90 minutes. Violin with the Dragon Tattoo: Trinity Episcopal Church and Pacific MusicWorks Underground present a new series of monthly concerts “Bach’s Coffeehouse” on various Sundays and Fridays through May at the church, 2301 Hoyt Ave., Everett. At 7:30 p.m. Jan. 7, baroque flute superstar Joshua Romatowski and acclaimed baroque violinist Tekla Cunningham perform works by Johan Helmich Roman, aka the Father of Swedish Music.
