EVERETT — A person was shot at a south Everett Value Village parking lot during an argument Thursday afternoon.

His age was not immediately available.

Multiple people called 911 after overhearing a loud argument and then multiple gunshots, Everett police officer Aaron Snell said. Police converged on a parking lot in the 6200 block of Evergreen Way around 4:20 p.m.

Everyone involved in the shooting reportedly had already left.

A group of people took the injured person to the hospital, Snell said. Police did not know whether the group was involved in the shooting.

Detectives were interviewing people to learn more about what had happened.

No additional information was available as of 5:30 p.m.
