Man arrested after fires at two Lynnwood businesses

LYNNWOOD — A man was arrested Saturday after allegedly setting fire to two businesses in the 17400 block of Highway 99 in Lynnwood. No injuries were reported.
The fires appeared to be intentionally set around 2:30 a.m., according to Lynnwood police. The suspect, a man in his mid-40s, was booked into the Snohomish County Jail. He was being held for investigation of first-degree arson.
Both fires caused minor damage. The man’s vehicle also was impounded.
