AquaSox see their four-game win streak come to an end

EVERETT — Luis Asuncion homered, singled and drove in three runs as the Tri-City Dust Devils topped the Everett AquaSox 5-3 in Northwest League baseball action Sunday at Everett Memorial Stadium.

The win snapped a four-game losing streak for the Dust Devils and a four-game winning streak for the AquaSox.

Tri-City took the lead with a four-run first inning, highlighted by Asuncion’s three-run homer.

After the teams traded runs, the AquaSox cut into the deficit in the eighth inning when Cal Raleigh hit an RBI double and then scored on a single by Bobby Honeyman to make it 5-3.

Everett starter Jheyson Caraballo (4-5) took the loss, giving up four runs and four hits over four innings.
