Mill Creek makes budget choices
The Mill Creek City Council passed a two-year budget Tuesday that balances more than $28 million in operating expenses without any increase to its regular property tax levy.
The budget includes more than 60 full-time positions.
The City Council also recently raised Mill Creek’s yearly stormwater fee to $150 starting in 2019. The current annual rate of $78 has been in place for 20 years. The amount is set to increase to $175 in 2020, $200 in 2021, then by 3 percent annually through 2026.
