Silvertips blank Americans, snap 3-game losing skid

KENNEWICK — Dustin Wolf had 23 saves, Connor Dewar and Max Patterson each scored and the Everett Silvertips snapped a three-game losing streak with a 2-0 win over Tri-City on Friday night.

Dewar opened the scoring with a goal at 19:11 in the opening period.

After a scoreless second, Patterson added an insurance goal at 16:56 in the third for the final tally.

Beck Warm had 20 saves for the Americans (24-18-2-1).

Robbie Holmes and Zack Andrusiak each had an assist for the Silvertips (34-12-1-1).
