Here are the prep stars of the night for Saturday, April 6:

Alicia Anderson, Kamiak girls track and field

Anderson, a senior, won the 16oo meters with a time of 5 minutes, 22.62 seconds, the 2-kilometer steeplechase with a 7:20.79 mark and was a part of the Knights’ first-place 4×800 relay team at the Berger Solberg Invite at Civic Stadium in Bellingham.

Samuel Van Peursem, Cedar Park Christian boys track and field

Van Peursem, a senior, won the discus at the Berger Solberg Invite with a throw of 177 feet, 7 inches. The mark in the best in the state, according to Athletic.net. Van Peursem also won the shotput with a 63-0.5 throw.

Theron Perkins, Lake Stevens baseball

Perkins, a senior, went 3-for-3 with a double, a triple and three RBI in the Vikings’ 15-5 win over Kamiak.

Davis Buckner, Snohomish baseball

Buckner, a sophomore, struck out eight and allowed an unearned run and two hits in a five-inning complete game as the Panthers beat Marysville Pilchuck 14-1.
