Prep stars of the night for Wednesday, April 24:

Thomas Blahous, Edmonds-Woodway baseball

Blahous, a junior, threw a five-inning one-hitter in the Warriors’ 10-0 win over Shorecrest. He struck out 11, walked five and went 2-for-2 with two RBI and a sacrifice fly at the plate. In his last three starts, all Edmonds-Woodway wins, Blahous has allowed a combined two hits and struck out 29 batters.

Tyler Spalti, Glacier Peak boys golf

Spalti, a senior, shot a 1-under-par 35 to take medalist honors at the Wesco 4A match at Harbour Point Golf Club.

Iyanla De Jesus, Jackson softball

De Jesus, a senior Coastal Carolina commit, struck out 16 batters in a complete-game three-hitter as the Timberwolves beat Glacier Peak 5-1. De Jesus went 3-for-3 at the plate with a double and two RBI.

Aaron Robertson, Everett baseball

Robertson, a junior, drove in the go-ahead run in the top of the eighth inning to lift the Seagulls to a 4-3 win over Snohomish. The victory clinched the No. 2 seed in the Wesco North for Everett.

Jacob Sesso, Cascade baseball

Sesso, a junior, went 2-for-3 with a double, a run scored and two RBI in Cascade’s 4-2 win over Glacier Peak.

Jon Bartel, South Whidbey baseball

Bartel, a junior, threw a two-hit shutout as the Falcons blanked Cedar Park Christian 3-0, setting up a winner-take-all contest between the two teams Friday at Marymoor Park for the North Sound Conference title. Bartel struck out four and walked one.
