LYNNWOOD — A Lynnwood man died Friday morning in a crash on Highway 99.
A southbound box truck stopped at a red light around 8 a.m. at 156th Street SW, north of Lynnwood.
A black Nissan Pathfinder drifted into the lane for unknown reasons, and crashed into the back right side of the stopped truck, Washington State Patrol trooper Heather Axtman said.
The SUV flipped onto its side. The driver, Theron Fisher, 41, died at the scene, according to troopers.
Three men in the box truck suffered injuries that appeared to be minor. They were treated at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
Streets were blocked in the morning while troopers investigated.
