Ronny Kildall, Everett boys golf

Kildall, a sophomore, fired a 2-over par 74 to take the Day 1 lead at the Class 3A District 1 Tournament at Avalon Golf Course in Burlington.

Malia Schroeder, Lakewood girls golf

Schroeder, a freshman, shot an 8-over par 81 to put her in third place and two storkes off the lead after Day 1 of the 2A District 1 & 2 Tournament at Skagit Golf & Country Club in Burlington.
