2 suspects in custody after man shot in downtown Seattle

SEATTLE — Police say two suspects were detained after a man was shot in downtown Seattle.

KOMO-TV reported that officers and medics responded to the scene, one block away from Pike Place Market, at around 12:30 p.m. Monday after a report of shots fired.

The 31-year-old man was taken to Harborview Medical Center, where he is listed in serious condition. He is expected to survive.

Police searched the area and detained two suspects.
