Emeralds thump AquaSox in series finale

EUGENE, Ore. — The Eugene Emeralds scored five runs in the fourth inning to turn a one-run deficit into a four-run lead and cruised to a 13-7 win over the Everett AquaSox in the finale of a three-game series on Saturday night.
AquaSox outfielder Luis Joseph, infielder Cash Gladfelter and catcher Carter Bins combined to pitch two innings in relief and allowed a combined six earned runs.
Austin Shenton went 2-for-5 with an RBI for Everett (11-12).
