Snohomish has good site for a SHAG center

I have advocated for a Senior Housing Assistance Group senior living center to be sited on nine vacant acres between Avenue D and the BPA electrical project in northwest Snohomish adjacent to an extant mobile home and trailer park.

This valuable property has been eyed by leaders as a mixed-use hotel, theater, shops, etc., but the largely dilapidated appearance of the mobile home park probably chills the desires of any commercial developer. Vertically, a very large complex of multi-use is very feasible and could serve many interests. Movie theaters aside, I recommend again an income-restricted type of senior living present locally in the SHAG Senior Housing Assistance Group villages.

These facilities are common and Snohomish needs one. A new SHAG is the best fit here.
