Editorial didn’t practice what it preached on partisanship

The Herald’s March 19 editorial, “Political divide turns deadly,” does the exact opposite of what was intended. The examples given — the Republican candidate running for governor and the poll disparaging Republicans as not taking the virus seriously — are partisan, pure and simple.

This was a huge swing and a miss by your editors. In the future, please use your forum for the greater good of all Americans. We are all in this together.
