Electoral College delegates should honor their pledge

I couldn’t believe the article regarding Electoral College delegates who were chosen to represent Americans and took it upon themselves not to follow the votes of American voters’ and cast their personal opinion and vote for a the candidate that they wanted (“Supreme Court ponders limits on presidential electors,” The Herald, May 13).
If this is the current law then voters should change this law and be able to cast their own personal vote and the decision should never be approved that authorizes anyone to vote on their behalf since the delegate can vote for whomever they want in office.
Please publish this law in the newspaper so voters can see how to cast their vote, as apparently the current law allows a certain person to change your vote. The presidential election is coming up fast and voters should be aware of how their votes are handled.
