MARYSVILLE — Applications to fill an open seat on the Marysville School Board will be accepted until May 5, according to the school district.
Pete Lundberg resigned from his position for personal reasons, a news release said. His departure was made official during a board meeting last week.
The open spot is to represent central Marysville in District 3. Those interested must live within its boundaries.
Whoever is appointed may fill the seat until the November election, when voters can weigh in on a replacement.
Application instructions and a map of District 3 can be found at bit.ly/MSDBoardofDirectors. Interviews are expected to be held the week of May 10, and whoever is chosen is to be sworn in during the May 19 meeting.
