MARYSVILLE — Three people and two pets escaped a house fire Tuesday morning in Marysville.

The fire was reported around 7:30 a.m. at a home in the 5300 block of 88th Street NE, Marysville Fire Department spokesperson Christie Veley said. Two adults, a child and two pets got out without injury.

The home had significant damage after the fire, which reportedly started in the garage, Veley said. The cause was being investigated.
