Schwab, Democrats guilty of what they accuse GOP of

I see Sid Schwab has written yet another tirade smearing Republicans. This time, he vilifies 80 percent of half the country as lying, anti-Semitic, misogynist, racist idiots who are, “prepared to end America.” Wow. Grab your pitchforks!
Sid won’t persuade anyone of anything by insulting them and writing them off as deplorable. However, his commentary does aptly expose a deeper problem with America’s current political leadership. Democrats cannot effectively run a country when knee-jerk, vitriolic name-calling and shaming is their go-to reaction to every opinion or idea they dislike. Did it work for Trump? They can’t credibly claim to be the “adults in charge” — the ones supposedly restoring the unity and civility they say Trump destroyed — when they’re busy maligning parents as “domestic terrorists,” banning free speech on Twitter and college campuses, intimidating Supreme Court justices outside their homes, slandering half the country as “semi-fascists” and being habitual election deniers regarding the 2016 election;and, for that matter, the 2000 election.
Yes, Trump’s bombast and egomania are bad — but they aren’t as damaging as Democrats’ ideological dogmatism and its real-world consequences. The tweets are gone, but at what cost? Obstinate, arrogant, wokeness has produced record inflation, a return to dependence on OPEC, skyrocketing crime and homelessness, multiple crises at our southern border, punitive covid decrees … and ZERO improvement in anything, including civility. Common sense suggests these results matter and should inform our political policies, but Democrats refuse to connect those particular dots.
