Support kids and Marysville in Feb. 14 school levy

Marysville voters: Please make sure that you are registered to vote for the very important Feb. 14 school levy election. Show the love! Show your love to the awesome students in the Marysville School District on Valentine’s Day!

We have lots of kind caring community leaders who are living up to what Don DeMarco professed for the students. Don had a knack and love for passing many levies and bonds because Don knew that is what the students needed, and Don worked tirelessly to pass both of them for many many years.

If the voters in our wonderful city of Marysville don’t support this important levy, eventually the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction will step in, and the Marysville School District could become insolvent.

I’ve called Marysville home since the fall of 1967 when my husband and I had our very first teaching careers here, and we’ve lived here ever since! Hurrah and thanks to Whitworth University in Spokane. You call Marysville home also, and the students need, and deserve your yes vote for many reasons. Having exemplary schools builds an exemplary Marysville.

I’ve written lots of letters to the editor for many years about our upcoming levies and bonds, and I truly love reminding you to always vote yes! Every student deserves your yes vote on Valentines Day!

Our kids! Our future!
