EVERETT — The Timberwolves pounded out 10 hits but fell to the Spartans in a non-elimination Class 4A District 1/2 tournament quarterfinal tilt.
Evan Mothersbaugh had three hits, a double, a run scored and three stolen bases, Micah Coleman reached base three times and Braden O’Donnell and Sean Bang added RBI for second-seeded Jackson (17-4). Starter Drew Pepin allowed two runs on five hits over 5 1/3 quality innings, striking out two. The Timberwolves fall to a loser-out consolation bracket game against third-seeded North Creek at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Edmonds-Woodway High School.
Seventh-seeded Skyline improves to 13-9 and advances to a winner-to-state semifinal contest against sixth-seeded Mount Si at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Bannerwood Park.

BELLEVUE — Wyatt Queen pitched a three-hit shutout and the fifth-seeded Vikings bested the fourth-seeded Falcons in a Class 4A District 1/2 tournament quarterfinal clash.
Lake Stevens (15-6) faces the winner of ninth-seeded Issaquah vs. top-seeded Eastlake in a winner-to-state bi-district semifinal tilt 7 p.m. Tuesday at Bannerwood Park in Bellevue.
Woodinville (15-7) falls to a loser-out consolation bracket game against the loser of ninth-seeded Issaquah vs. top-seeded Eastlake at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Edmonds-Woodway High School.
3A District 1 Tournament
Quarterfinals (non-elimination)
No. 9 Mountlake Terrace 6, No. 1 Snohomish 1
SNOHOMISH — Talan Zenk had two hits and an RBI and Bede Breese drove in two runs to back 5 1/3 strong innings from Tyler Song as the ninth-seeded Hawks upset the top-seeded Panthers in a Class 3A District 1 tournament quarterfinal contest.
Zenk doubled and stole a base and Rominic Quiban reached base twice, scored twice and stole a base for Mountlake Terrace (14-9). Song allowed one run on six hits and one walk and struck out seven. The Hawks advance to a winner-to-state district semifinal tilt against fifth-seeded Shorewood at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Funko Field.
Brendan McKinley had two hits, an RBI and a stolen base and Easton Leonard added two hits for Snohomish (16-5). The Panthers fall to a loser-out consolation bracket game against fourth-seeded Monroe at 4 p.m. on Tuesday at Snohomish High School.

EDMONDS — Dylan Schlenger tossed a five-hit shutout and the second-seeded Warriors escaped a bases-loaded jam in the seventh to earn a Class 3A District 1 tournament quarterfinal victory over the 10th-seeded Spartans.
Schlenger struck out four and improved to 9-0 on the season and Drew Warner drove in both runs on in single in the first inning for Edmonds-Woodway (17-5), which advances to face sixth-seeded Ferndale in a winner-to-state district semifinal clash 7 p.m. Tuesday at Funko Field.
Matthew Brennan allowed two runs on five hits and three walks and struck out one over six strong innings and Luke Palaniuk had three hits Stanwood (12-11), which falls to a loser-out consolation matchup against third-seeded Mount Vernon at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Mount Vernon.

MONROE — The fifth-seeded Stormrays toppled the fourth-seeded Bearcats in a Class 3A District 1 tournament quarterfinal game.
Shorewood (15-6) advances to face ninth-seeded Mountlake Terrace in a winner-to-state district semifinal contest 4 p.m. Tuesday at Funko Field.
Monroe (16-5) falls to a loser-out consolation matchup against top-seeded Snohomish at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Snohomish High School.

ANACORTES — The fourth-seeded Wildcats blanked the fifth-seeded Storm to advance to the winner-to-state Class 2A District 1 tournament semifinals.
The Wildcats improved to 10-12 and advance to face top-seeded Anacortes at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Daniels Field in Anacortes.
Squalicum fell to 8-11 and faces eighth-seeded Sehome at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Volunteer Park in Anacortes.
1A District 1/2 Tournament

King’s 6, Blaine 4
BELLINGHAM — Luke Echelbarger provided a two-run single in the top of the sixth inning and the Knights advanced to the Class 1A District 1/2 tournament semifinals with a victory over the Borderites.
Jacob Halkett earned the win on the mound and Caden Kennelly secured the save with two innings of relief of King’s (9-8). The Knights advance to face Overlake/Bear Creek at 3 p.m.
Blaine (13-7) falls to the consolation bracket and faces Lynden Christian in a loser-out game at 1 p.m. next Saturday.

BELLINGHAM — Lucas Christensen delivered six strong innings on the mound, but the Knight’s couldn’t overcome four errors in a loss to Overlake/Bear Creek in a winner-to-state Class 1A Bi-District 1/2 tournament semifinal contest.
Christensen allowed just two hits for Kings (9-9), which falls to a loser-out consolation bracket game against South Whidbey at 1 p.m. next Saturday at Sehome High School.
Overlake/Bear Creek (17-5) advances to face Cedar Park Christian (Bothell) in the bi-district title game 3:30 p.m. next Saturday at Joe Martin Stadium.

MUKILTEO — The ninth-seeded Cougars ousted the eighth-seeded Knights in a loser-out Class 4A District 1/2 tournament consolation game.
Bothell (6-6-3) advances to face fifth-seeded Glacier Peak in a loser-out contest 7 p.m. Tuesday at Glacier Peak High School.
Kamiak ends its season at 4-11-1.

SHORELINE — The 10th-seeded Hawks upset the second-seeded Scots with a victory in penalty kicks during the Class 3A District 1 tournament quarterfinals.
Mountlake Terrace improves 8-8-2 and advances to a winner-to-state district semifinal match against third-seeded Mount Vernon at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Shoreline Stadium.
Shorecrest falls to 14-2-1 and faces sixth-seeded Meadowdale in a loser-out district consolation game on Tuesday. The time and location are to be determined.

MOUNT VERNON — The third-seeded Bulldogs edged the sixth-seeded Mavericks in a Class 3A District 1 tournament quarterfinal clash.
Mount Vernon improves to 13-0-3 and advances to face 10th-seeded Mountlake Terrace in a winner-to-state district semifinal match 6 p.m. Tuesday at Shoreline Stadium.
Meadowdale falls to 7-7-4 and faces second-seeded Shorecrest in a loser-out district consolation game 4 p.m. Tuesday.

EDMONDS — Ben Hanson and Victor Ibarra had two goals apiece and the top-seeded Warriors blanked the ninth-seeded Royals in a Class 3A District 1 tournament quarterfinal game.
Isaac Pareno added a goal and an assist and Richard Duncan and Alex Plumis chipped in assists for Edmonds-Woodway (15-0-2). Gabriel Wilhelm earned the shutout in goal. The Warriors advance to a winner-to-state district semifinal contest against fourth-seeded Shorewood at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Shoreline Stadium.
Lynnwood (8-10-0) falls to a consolation bracket game against fifth-seeded Monroe at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Monroe High School.

LYNDEN — The third-seeded Lions outlasted the sixth-seeded Wildcats in penalty kicks to advance in the Class 2A District 1 tournament.
Lynden (9-4-3) moves on to a winner-to-state district semifinal match against second-seeded Bellingham on Tuesday.
Archbishop Murphy (7-9-1) falls to a loser-out consolation game against seventh-seeded Cedarcrest on Tuesday at Archbishop Murphy High School.

Cedarcrest (4-10-4) falls to a loser-out consolation game against sixth-seeded Archbishop Murphy on Tuesday at Archbishop Murphy High School.
