EVERETT — Ten adults were displaced by a fire at a clean and sober house south of Everett early Tuesday, fire officials said.

Around 2:35 a.m., firefighters responded to smoke alarms in the 11000 block of 6th Avenue W, South County Fire spokesperson Leslie Hynes said. Flames were coming out of the front of the house, but were under control within 15 minutes.

Residents were able to get out of the house, Hynes said. Two men were transported to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, one with minor injuries and another with a medical emergency.

The residents were all in sober living, Hynes said. Double Cup Coffee, a coffee stand on the same property, was not damaged.

The Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s Office will determine the cause.
