Beach cleanup set at Edmonds’ Meadowdale Beach Park

EVERETT — A beach cleanup will be held Thursday at Edmonds’ Meadowdale Beach Park.

The event will last from 10 a.m to noon at 6002 156th St. SW in Edmonds. Organizers will provide volunteers with supplies and refreshments, a press release said.

The beach has limited parking, so volunteers are encouraged to park at the Meadowdale Playfields, at 16700 66th Ave. W. in Lynnwood, and access the complimentary shuttles to and from the beach. The shuttles will run 9:30-10:15 a.m. and noon to 12:45 p.m.

The cleanup is cohosted by County Council member Nate Nehring, Washington State University Beach Watchers, Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County and the Greater Seattle Korean Association.
