SNOHOMISH — A three-hit, 13-K shutout from Trevor Vorderbruggen powered the Panthers (7-6 overall, 3-2 league) to an important win to stay firmly in the league title race. Landon Klein (1-for-3) and Jordan Rude (0-for-2) scored a run for Snohomish, each by stealing home. Cooper Agen allowed seven hits in six innings for the Chargers (3-10, 0-5).

Jackson 11, Cascade 0 (5)
MILL CREEK — The Timberwolves (10-1, 3-0) strolled to a run-rule win over the Bruins (2-9, 0-4). Gavin Clark struck out nine while allowing two hits in four innings for Jackson. On offense, Quin Johns (2-for-2, two RBI, two runs) was one of three Jackson hitters to score twice or more. Austin Halvorson (1-for-2, one RBI) rounded the bases a team-high three times. Marcell Alexander and Kenny Rasmussen each went 1-for-2 for Cascade.

Nooksack Valley 2, Lakewood 1
EVERSON — Two late runs in the top of the seventh doomed the Cougars (3-9, 0-7). The go-ahead run was scored on an error, as Lakewood found themselves committing six in the contest. Lakewood pitcher Cayden Hayes allowed no earned runs in 5.2 innings while allowing eight hits to five Ks.
