The Daily Herald’s Best Of Snohomish County 2024 results are in!

It’s time to celebrate the absolute best of the best, chosen by the community! From local favorites to hidden gems, here are your top picks for the ‘Best Book Shops:

First Place: 3rd Street Books in Marysville

3rd Street Book Exchange continues to be a family owned independent bookstore offering a sprawling treasure trove of new, used, and hard-to-find books. The second generation owner, Rachel Nanfito, continues to dream and follow in the original foot steps of her mother.

When Rachel is not at the store, she is home spending time with her teenagers, her husband Jacob, and her dog Willie. Rachel’s siblings, Erin and Virgina, and nieces and nephews lend a hand when to keep this bookstore moving forward. Rachel reads all different genres and is always willing to talk books.

Second Place: Main Street Books in Monroe
