Edmonds seeks applicants for planning board vacancy

EVERETT — The city of Edmonds is looking for a resident to fill a vacancy on its Planning Board.
The Planning Board advises the City Council on rezones, comprehensive planning, Community Development Code amendments and other land use issues.
The open position is an alternate. Alternate members attend all board meetings, take part in discussions and serve as a regular voting member when a regular member is absent.
Board members serve a four-year term and are eligible to be re-appointed for a second four-year term. The first term for this position ends Dec. 29, 2029.
The application and position description are available on the city website. The deadline is May 1. Applicants should submit the application form, a resume and a letter of interest to beckie.peterson@edmondswa.gov. Applications can also be mailed to City Hall at 121 5th Ave. N, Edmonds, WA, 98020.
