Wesco 3A/2A North

Snohomish 5, Monroe 4

SNOHOMISH — Kamryn Best saved her first hit for the perfect time, walking off a tight game with a single in the bottom of the seventh for Snohomish (10-1 overall, 3-0 league). Solo homers from Amelia Lane and Sydney Witherow provided spurts of momentum for the Panthers, who scored one run in each of the final five frames. Abby Edwards held strong in another complete game, striking out 14 hitters while giving up five hits, one walk and three earned runs. Vivian Knuckey (run, 2 RBI) and Tenny Oylear (run, RBI) each doubled for Monroe (5-7, 1-3) in the loss.

Wesco 3A/2A South

Shorewood 4, Mountlake Terrace 1

SHORELINE — The league-leading Stormrays (9-4, 6-0) have allowed just two runs in their last three games as Ellie Van Horn gave up six hits to eight Ks in seven innings for Shorewood. Lillian Perreault (2-for-3) had the game’s only extra-base hit on a third-inning triple to open the scoring for Shorewood, while Amaya Johnson scored Mountlake Terrace’s (5-6, 4-3) lone run.

Edmonds-Woodway 14, Shorecrest 4 (6)

EDMONDS — The Warriors (4-8, 3-3) knocked in six runs in the sixth to cap off a strong day against the Scots (8-7, 3-6). Ellie Alderson (4-for-5, 3 runs, 4 RBI) led a 26-for-38 offense with two doubles, while Noa Gillespie (4-for-5) also batted in four runs. Bella Swanson (3-for-5, 2 RBI) and Olivia Jones (3-for-4, RBI) both scored twice for the Warriors as well. Natalie Fernandez (2-for-3, run) homered and brought in three runs for Shorecrest.

Meadowdale 11, Lynnwood 1 (5)

LYNNWOOD — The Mavericks (5-5, 3-2) pulled away from the Royals (4-7, 0-6) as Samantha Martens (3-for-4, 2 runs) homered to help bring in six runs on the day. Madison Mitchell (4-for-4, RBI) and Zoe de Mello (1-for-2) both scored three times to lead Meadowdale. In the circle, Payton Aldridge pitched all five innings to give up two hits and run with seven Ks, while Kennedy Fane doubled and scored a run for Lynnwood.

Non-league

Archbishop Murphy 6, Glacier Peak 5

SHORELINE — The Wildcats (9-5) held off a late rally from the Grizzlies (4-9) as Ari Dixon closed the final 5.2 innings with 10 Ks, four hits and two unearned runs allowed. Sarah Fletcher (2-for-3, run) continued her strong season at the plate for A-M, homering en route to a three-RBI day. Saylah Lopez (2 2B) and Maliya Dixon (2B) each scored twice and knocked in a run. Glacier Peak had a strong hitting day overall with five doubles as Lily Wendlandt (2B) scored twice.

Arlington 7, Marysville Getchell 2

MARYSVILLE — Peyton Aanstad pitched a complete game with 17 strikeouts to three hits and one earned run allowed to help power the Eagles (6-7) to a solid win. Arlington also mashed six extra-base hits to outpace the Chargers. Grace Strothman (2B) led the way with three RBI while Ella Smith (run) tripled for Arlington. Abby Guthrie (2-for-3, run) hit the game’s only homer for Marysville Getchell as she brought in both of her team’s two runs.

Kamiak 18, Lake Stevens 2 (6)

LAKE STEVENS — The league-topping Knights (8-3, 4-0) poured on 12 runs in the sixth inning to invoke the run rule. Kamiak’s offense finished with eight extra-base hits, including a triple and a homer from Olivia Martinez (3-for-5, 3 runs, 4 RBI) and three doubles from Kenzie Barrington (3-for-4, 2 runs, 2 RBI). Riley Karabach also doubled twice on a 5-for-5 day with three runs and three RBI as the Knights went 21-for-40. Emerson Cummins went 2-for-3 for Lake Stevens (5-3, 3-2), knocking in both of her team’s runs.
