Can you adopt one of these pets?
Come meet beautiful Olympia! This smart girl is looking for a home with real Shepherd experience ready to provide her a lifetime of adventures. Olympia has made it quite clear she chases cats and other small furry things. We are not sure how she is with other dogs so will need a meet and greet and any children in the home need to be over the of 12 years. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Picachau (pictured) and Tiger Queenie have lived their whole lives together, and need a quiet home where they can continue to be best friends. (Jon Annis / Everett Animal Shelter)
Ravioli is looking for a new business partner. You get his fun personality and good looks, and he gets free kibble and a place to nap. Bonus: He’s also great with kids! Does he have a deal? (Jon Annis / Everett Animal Shelter)
Roo looks like a slightly smaller version of another shelter rabbit, Kanga, and seems to have the same easy-going temperament. (Jon Annis / Everett Animal Shelter)

The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.

All pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given a identifying microchip before they are adopted. Take a look at some of the dogs, cats and other animals that are available for adoption at the shelter now. Here is the previous post featuring animals up for adoption.

If you’re interested in adopting an animal, the shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 425-257-6000.
