Any way we can tax Zarelli’s gall?

The contrast between your story of the World War II veterans and the story of state Sen. Joseph Zarelli on Friday was glaring. (“WWII veterans share history and now a friendship” and “Senator on disability wants to cut benefits for others.”)
Sen. Zarelli collects disability for an ailment (chronic back pain) that permits him to golf, hike and fish, and take care of six acres, yet he wants to cut disability benefits for the truly disabled. What a hypocrite.
Someone should be looking into this farce. It comes from the same gentleman (per the Herald article) who collected unemployment benefits for months while he received his salary as a lawmaker.
Shame on Sen. Zarelli. How does he look at himself in the mirror each morning? Veterans with legitimate injuries have a hard time getting benefits, while his type continues to milk the system for all it is worth.
If no one looks into his shenanigans, perhaps the voters will be intelligent enough to boot him out of office. When you give him the boot, be sure he isn’t injured in the process. He seems to be an expert at gaming the system and would surely try to get on the dole for any new ailments.
