LANGLEY— South Whidbey overcame 32 points by Lakewood’s Ashlie Orr to capture the Cascade Conference opener for both teams. Jessica Manca had a double-double for South Whidbey with 16 points and 12 rebounds and the Falcons’ Ellie Green pulled down a game-high 16 boards to go with eight points. Hayley Newman was second best on South Whidbey with 14 points. Orr also had seven rebounds and teammate Kaylee Diggs scored 11 points.
