Prep girls basketball: Archbishop Murphy 58, Granite Falls 33

EVERETT — Beth Carlson had 18 points, 10 rebounds and six steals to lead Arbishop Murphy to a 58-33 win over Granite Falls on Tuesday night.
The win marks Murphy’s second Cascade Conference win keeping them among the top teams in the conference. Granite falls dropped its second consecutive league game, evening their overall record and marring what was a promising start to the season.
Monti Cooper also had 11 points and six rebounds for the Wildcats.
Peyton Spencer got to double digits with 11 for Granite Falls in the loss.
