Arlington: ‘Messiah’ to be performed
The Arlington-Marysville-Stanwood Community Choir and Orchestra, under the direction of Lyle Forde, presents its biannual performance of Handel’s “Messiah,” at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Byrnes Performing Arts Center, 18821 Crown Ridge Blvd. Tickets are $5 a person or $10 a family.
Neighborhood party to benefit food bank
Gleneagle’s annual Christmas party to benefit the Arlington Community Food Bank is set for 6 p.m. Saturday at the Gleneagle clubhouse. Get tickets at the door, 7619 Country Club Drive. The neighborhood is expecting a visiting from a fire truck with Santa on board at about 8 p.m.

Darrington: Drama club presents plays
The Darrington Middle/High School Drama Club presents an evening of one-act, 10-minute and short festival plays at 7 tonight and 7 p.m. Saturday in the school auditorium.
