Two-story in Snohomish

with four bedrooms, den

This week’s featured new construction is a four-bedroom, 2.5- bath two-story in the Larimer Crossing development, overlooking the Snohomish River Valley and Cascade Mountains.

Built by Pacific Ridge Homes, the featured Mayfield floor plan includes an attached two-car garage, a den or main floor fifth bedroom, an upstairs laundry room, and a great-room combining formal living and dining areas.

Hardwood flooring covers the entry, which is open to the second level.

Access to the garage, which contains the home’s natural gas furnace and hot water tank, is on the right. Enclosed by a single paneled door, the garage is completely finished with room for a work bench.

Along the right side of a short corridor is the den and a powder room with pedestal sink. The den has a nine-foot ceiling, plush carpeting and a window that overlooks a side yard.

The extra-large living room is highlighted by a natural gas fireplace. The entire wall behind the fireplace is finished with floor-to-ceiling cultured stone, embellished with a stone mantel and wiring for a high-definition, flat-panel television. Two windows overlook a cedar-fenced back yard.

The dining room can be accessed from either the living room or hall. The room has a window facing a side yard.

A kitchen completes the main living area. Features here include an extended breakfast bar topped with granite tile, Shaker-style paneled cabinets with crown molding and plant shelves, recessed lighting, a corner pantry with ventilated wire storage shelves, and stainless steel appliances.

A sliding glass door opens from the informal dining nook to a partially covered exposed-aggregate patio.

All four bedrooms, including a bedroom suite, are upstairs. The suite has an extra-large sleeping area, a separate sitting room, a walk-in closet and a five-piece bathroom.

Features of the suite’s bathroom include vinyl flooring, a freestanding shower with faux white tile fiberglass shell, a double vanity topped with ceramic tile, and a large soaker tub encased in a ceramic tile surround framed by an arch with twin pillars.

All three additional bedrooms are generously proportioned and have standard closets with paneled sliding doors.

The second full bathroom upstairs has a single vanity topped with laminate, and a shower/tub combination with faux white tile fiberglass shell.

A laundry room completes the home’s upper level.
