Prep girls basketball: Lynnwood 65, Liberty 60

KIRKLAND — Meghan Cross and Mokun Fajemisin each sank a pair of key free throws as Lynnwood held off a Liberty comeback attempt on the final day of the Kingco-Wesco Challenge. Lynnwood outscored Liberty 17-9 in the third quarter. Liberty got within three in the fourth but could get no closer. Cross had 21 points and Fajemisin scored 13 for the Royals. Sierra Carlson scored 16 points and Danni Sjolander had 15 for Liberty.
