‘Driving it Home’ goal: Keeping teen drivers safe

MUKILTEO — Teens and parents can see the effects of poor driving decisions firsthand Saturday at Kamiak High School.
The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office plans to host “Driving it Home” from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The event includes testimonials from parents who have lost teens to car accidents. There also will be analysis of several deadly crashes and a mock car-pedestrian accident outside the school.
The program is free. Small children should not attend.
