This week’s featured new construction is a fee simple, single-family, attached townhome-style unit in the Abbey Road condominiums near Mill Creek Town Center.

Built by Belmark Homes, the project is the first in Snohomish County to be 100-percent Energy Star Certified.

Abbey Road includes three community parks, sidewalks on both sides of all streets, 20-foot driveways, and attached covered parking (one- and two-car garages).

The featured unit, the Wimbledon model, can be entered from either the front or back. It has radiant heat by zones, a tankless water heater and a single-car garage.

Exterior features include a 30-year architectural composition roof, covered front porch, and a fully landscaped yard with irrigation system.

A windowless bonus room on the ground-floor level could be used as a media room. From there, a flight of stairs leads up to the main living floor, which includes a kitchen, powder room and great-room. The area has a wall of windows and a gas fireplace.

The third level consists of a bedroom suite with walk-in wardrobe closet and three-quarter bathroom, a second bedroom served by a full bathroom, and a laundry closet.

Kitchen features include an expanded breakfast bar with drop-down lighting, slab granite countertops, maple flooring, stainless steel appliances, maple-paneled cabinets with crown molding and under-cabinet accent lighting, and a pantry closet.

The powder room, located to the immediate right upon entry, is completed with a pedestal sink and hardwood flooring.

The bedroom suite has a high vaulted ceiling in the sleeping area, and an oversized window with territorial and Cascade Mountain views. The walk-in closet includes ventilated wire storage shelves.

Highlights of the suite’s bathroom are a double vanity topped with slab granite, a glass mosaic tile backsplash, seamless vinyl flooring, and a freestanding shower with fiberglass shell and clear glass enclosure.

The laundry closet and a linen closet are positioned in the hall leading to the second bedroom and full bath. The bedroom is completed with paneled sliding doors enclosing a standard closet, and a window facing the front of the home.

The bathroom includes a single vanity with slab granite top, vinyl flooring and a shower/tub combination with fiberglass surround.
