2010-11 Tips/WHL non-prediction thread

The 2010-11 Everett Silvertips season begins in roughly 24 hours. I think everyone — players, coaches, fans, me — are excited for the season’s start, and are ready for the real games to begin.
In past years I’ve rang in the start of the season with my annual predictions post. Or more accurately, my non-predictions post. That’s because, you see, I’m terrible when it comes to predictions. I have a long and glorious history of crashing and burning when it comes to handicapping NFL games, filling out NCAA brackets, etc. So my way of addressing that with the Tips has been to predict what’s NOT going to happen, having a little fun in the process.
However, this preseason has been different. The Everett AquaSox baseball team is my other beat, and the Sox won the Northwest League championship this season. That was the franchise’s first title in 25 years and it was quite a ride. However, it also ate into my preparation time for the Tips’ season, and as a result I haven’t had the opportunity to even think of non-predictions prior to typing the first word of this blog post.
Therefore, this year I’m opening up the non-predictions to everyone. I want to hear what kind of non-predictions everyone can come up with for the upcoming season. Feel free to have fun with this.
I’ll get the ball rolling. I predict Kent Simpson will NOT make it through the season with just one goalie mask — again!
Now it’s your turn:
