Tips stand pat

The trade deadline has come and passed, with Everett not involved in the flurry. There were 15 trades made today, with Portland, Brandon, Calgary and Vancouver picking up the big pieces. There were no big-name players moved who weren’t already rumored to already be on the block, and Regina decided to try and make one last push with Jordan Eberle and Colten Teubert rather than trade its two stars.

I haven’t had the opportunity to talk to Tips general manager Doug Soetaert yet. I’m curious whether he tried to get something done today.
