Puyallup fair to hire 3,000 workers

PUYALLUP — The Puyallup Fair will hire 3,000 temporary workers for next month’s fair.

Hiring starts Wednesday for food service, retail sales, game and booth operators.

Wages start at $8.55 an hour. Workers can apply at the WorkSource office at the fairgrounds.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old and have proof of legal right to work, such as a Social Security card.

The fair opens Sept. 11 and runs through the 27th.
