LYNNWOOD — A 9-year-old boy was rushed to a Seattle hospital Wednesday after he was hit by a car while riding his bicycle.
Emergency officials were called about 8:45 a.m. to the 1900 block of Magnolia Road, Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said.
The boy rode out of his driveway and reportedly didn’t look for traffic, she said. He was hit by a Honda Civic that tried to swerve to avoid the crash.
Paramedics believed the boy had a broken leg, Hover said. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center as a precaution.
No citations were issued.
