Friends look for missing Lake Stevens woman

Friends of a missing Lake Stevens middle school teacher continued to search for the woman Friday.

Connie Koch, 62, was last seen March 26 at her Lake Stevens home, officials said. She was preparing to fly to Texas for medical treatment.

Relatives believe she instead drove her car east on U.S. 2. Her last known communication was a text message that was traced to the Stevens Pass area.

She’s believed to be driving a white 2005 Toyota Corolla with Washington license “971 VOL.”
